Notice of Council Public Hearing - Ordinance No. 656 amending WMC Sections 21.22.040 B. (25) and (27) and Section 21.40.030 (d) regarding Density and Dimensions, February 6, 2018
PURPOSE: The Woodinville City Council will conduct a public hearing to receive testimony on draft Ordinance No. 656 amending WMC Sections 21.22.040 B. (25) and (27) and Section 21.40.030 (d) regarding Density and Dimensions. Draft Ordinance 656 would amend the requirement for five floors maximum and for fireplaces in mixed-use structures in the Central Business District and five floors in the General Business zone. Case number is ZCA17004/SEP17008 Density and Dimensions.

Public Notice - Washington State Department of Ecology’s Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit
City of Woodinville, Rick Roberts, 17301 133rd Ave NE Woodinville, WA 98072, is seeking coverage under the Washington State Department of Ecology’s Construction Stormwater NPDES and State Waste Discharge General Permit.

The proposed project, NE 171st Street Urban Parkway, is located at 131st Avenue NE and NE 171st Street in Woodinville from NE 175th Street (south of the intersection) to 140th Avenue NE (west of the intersection) in Woodinville in King County.

This project involves 2.85 acres of soil disturbance for Highway or Road construction
activities. The receiving waterbodies are Woodin Creek and Sammamish River.

Any persons desiring to present their views to the Washington State Department of Ecology regarding this Application, or interested in Ecology’s action on this Application, may notify Ecology in writing no later than 30 days of the last date of publication of this notice. (February 14, 2018) Ecology reviews public comments and considers whether discharges from this project would cause a measurable change in receiving water quality, and, if so, whether the project is necessary and in the overriding public interest according to Tier II antidegradation requirements under WAC 173-201A-320.
