Virtual Meeting Participation
Following advice from King County, Washington State and national health officials regarding COVID-19, the public is
strongly
encouraged to participate virtually in City Council and Commission meetings where possible. Broadcasts of public meetings may be live-streamed at the City's online
Meetings Portal
. Meetings are also broadcast on Woodinville TV and are available on both Comcast and Frontier cable systems. On Comcast, you can watch us on channel 21, and with Frontier, we’re located on channel 41.
The Council Chambers will continue to be open to the public during Council and Commission meetings in accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, but individuals who are more at risk for developing severe symptoms of the illness are especially encouraged to view the meeting via live-stream. Anyone in attendance will be asked to practice social distancing measures.
If you wish to provide public comment virtually, you may do so by submitting a written statement to PublicComments@ci.woodinville.wa.us. Any comments received by 5:00 p.m. the day of the meeting may be read during the first public comment period. Additional comments received by 8:00 p.m. may be included in the second time slot for public comments.
To ensure your comments are received and read at the proper meeting, your email
must
include:
•
The name of the group that is meeting (City Council, Planning Commission, Public Spaces Commission)
•
Date of the meeting your comments are intended for
•
Your name
•
Whether or not you live in the City limits of Woodinville
•
Agenda Item and/or subject your comments refer to
Emails without this information may not be read at the meeting. Three minutes are allowed for comment. And, in accordance with normal procedure, messages of an overly repetitive or inappropriate (vulgarity) nature may be declined to be read at the discretion of the meeting Chair.
Please check the
City Events Calendar
for the most up-to-date information about individual events.
