Deyoung Park Peace Poles ArtThe City of Woodinville is seeking candidates to fill a vacant seat on our Public Spaces Commission. This Commission advises the City Council on Woodinville's public spaces.  Specifically, if you find yourself interested in how the City's parks, art, trees, recreation, and other public areas all come together, then this is an opportunity for you.

All candidates will be considered to fill one of four Commission seats. Positions No. 2, 4, & 6 have terms that expire on December 31, 2019. Candidates for these seats will be appointed or re-appointed for a new three-year term ending December 31, 2022. Position No. 3 is currently vacant, with a term that expires December 31, 2020. A candidate appointed to fill this seat will join the Commission immediately and serve out the remainder of the partial term.

To be considered you must be a resident of the City of Woodinville and submit a completed application by the due date below.  Interviews for the position will be conducted at the November 19, 2019 City Council meeting.  That meeting starts at 7:00 pm and will be held at Woodinville City Hall.

Application: Due by 4:00 pm on November 12, 2019
Interview: November 19, 2019, 7:00 pm at Woodinville City Hall

Term: (3) 3-year terms; (1) ~1-year partial term
Reappointment: Eligible for additional 3-year terms
Meetings: Generally held monthly on 4th Thursdays at 6:30 pm
Location: Woodinville City Hall
