Outdoor Use Guidelines during COVID-19

Outdoor Use Guidelines during COVID-19
Posted on 06/04/2020
On May 29, the Governor ended the "Stay Home" order and replaced it with a county-by-county phased reopening "Safe Start - Stay Healthy" plan. King County's request to enter a Modified Phase 1 under  the "Safe Start" plan that allows for restaurants and other services to be performed outdoors has been approved by the State.

The City has heard from many businesses interested in expanding their outdoor dining onto sidewalks and parking stalls. We expect expanded outdoor commercial activities to continue into Phase 2. The City Manager has issued a directive to relax enforcement on certain code provisions to support implementation of the "Safe Start" plan. Life safety codes will continue to be enforced.

For more information, see the City's Guidelines for Use of Outdoor Space under "Safe Start - Stay Healthy" Phased Reopening. Please contact planning@ci.woodinville.wa.us with questions. We are committed to responding to these requests quickly to support businesses reopening.
