CURRENT OUTLOOK

This project is currently progressing on schedule.  Currently they are in the process of completing the new bridge and underground utility installation.  At crossings along NE 175th St, intersection signal improvements are taking place and railroad facilities are being updated to accommodate the new infrastructure.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

The Sammamish Bridge Replacement project will widen SR 202 (NE 175th St.) from the intersection of 131st Avenue NE (MP 0.31) to Woodinville-Redmond Road (MP 0.55). This segment of SR 202 will be widened to 4 lanes by constructing a new two-lane bridge adjacent to the existing bridge. Railing and sidewalk modification are also included for the existing bridge. Installation of bike lanes, curb and gutter, sidewalk, storm drainage, traffic signals, railroad signals and gates, street lighting, paving/striping and landscaping are also to be completed with this project.

PROJECT IMPACTS

  • Working hours
    7AM to 7PM (Monday - Friday) and 9AM to 5PM (Saturdays)
  • Traffic
    SR202 / NE 175th St
    One Lane Closure (Nights) between 131st Ave NE & Woodinville-Redmond Road.  Night Work Hours will be 8:30PM to 5AM (Sunday – Thursday)

    Sammamish River Trail
    Short-term closures will occur sporadically throughout the duration of the project. A detour has been provided.

    Very short closures of five (5) minutes may be required for public safety during trenching or clearing operations. These very short closures are only permitted during off-peak hours throughout the project duration which are 9AM - 12PM and 1PM - 4PM (Monday-Friday).
